Alien plot that turns out to be a misunderstanding (no real aliens)

Cheeky tone

A young girl in a dusty Australian outback/rural town thinks aliens are landing, rallies her friends, causes a fuss about, but it turns out to be something completely mundane (like a prank, a piece of space junk, or a movie set/hoax).

There is a scene involving an outdoor toilet (dunny) where some boys throw a mouse over a friend of the protagonist girl and she screams when it falls on her skirt

I have been searching for the film “Chotard and Co” (1933) by Jean Renoir for a long time, if anyone knows.

Also two films by Mizoguchi seem to be very hard to find “Three Generations of Danjuro” (1944) and “Song of the Camp” (1938), at least according to Wikipedia.

Hello, I’m looking for the English-language version of Melville’s Le Cercle Rouge (1970)

It’s supposed to be an 83-minute cut, where Alain Delon, Yves Montand and the other actors speak in English. I don’t know if we do alternate cuts here at rarefilmm, but if anyone finds it I’d be most thankful!
