One of them is the man’s brother who, incidentally, is trying to find who it was that killed their father, while still another is a woman who has schemes of her own.

This is a sort of “Director’s Cut” version of the film shown on Japanese TV, no idea about the date, late ’90s maybe? The quality isn’t very good but it features the original score by Dan Wool and Zander Schloss which was replaced by a much different and inferior score for the theatrical release and all copies released on home video. I believe this cut still has some edits done by the producers against Cox’s vision for the film so it’s not entirely his cut but still resembles more his original vision than all other copies available for this film out there, this version also has some extra and extended scenes compared to the theatrical cut. He is sentenced to spend his life on an uninhabited island with only a few simple tools. Mary, a maid, intrigued by the story and the man, decides to join him there.
