This film is absolutely pointless. Actually, it is worse: it is self-obsessed aggrandizing posturing as artistic depth. It is a narcissistic exercise with a veneer of artistic quality.
“Tool-ishness” can manifest itself when someone mistakenly thinks that others are philistines, simply because his own tool-ishness blinds him to the truth.
Pointing this out is not an attack on the person who curates this list – to whom everyone is very grateful I am sure. If that were the case, then the rating system itself would be pointless. Why not simply have an image of 5 stars for each movie and be done with it?
I will tell you why – because the point is to have a rating system which rates the films (and the rating system here is more of a learning tool than anything else – watching worse movies helps us appreciate the better ones) – it takes quite a good amount of condescending tool-ishness not to be able to discern this most obvious of facts.

James, I didn’t like the film and posted so. How is that being ungrateful? Should I have lied, saying I loved it and given it full stars? I’m just being honest. I’m very grateful for this website and the many films that I’ve watched and enjoyed and posted positively about. I’ve no idea what you mean by “tool-ishness”. I posted how I felt about this particular film – that’s not “shitting” as you say on Jon’s great efforts. Do you expect every comment to be glowing? I don’t think you’re being fair at all here.
At the time of this post, the rating here is 3.7 from 11 votes – clearly not all liked it.

In reply to Torin Doyle. You know what's worse than condescension? Dismissiveness, ungratefulness, and tool-ishness. Jon spends countless hours finding and posting these films. Shitting on a 10-minute film deserves some opprobrium.
