Thanks for reminding this Yank of “Mr,Hulot” film which I first saw at the Amsterdam Film Museum. while on my own holiday. Mr.Tatis is an absolute genius and I will have to check the other references in your most cool comment .Ps Many;thanks to the French and others for rescuing me from the banal ,poorly acted and produced US films so many think are good here.

Very nice litte film! Les frères Lumière meet Monsierur Hulot and Daniel Losset’s “La Vénus à Lulu” which had come out the year before.
