Yes, Jenny, the KANOPY service is exactly where I saw it.! What a great, free gift that site is to all of us in the States who possess a public library card. If you need a refresher on the Brontes, might I suggest BBC’s superb TO WALK INVISIBLE: THE BRONTE SISTERS (2016)? INVISIBLE is the dramatized facts concerning those incredible creatures, their brother and father while Téchiné’s SOEURS is an elegant near- Bressonian response to the same. It is closest in tone to Andrea Arnold’s underrated WUTHERING HEIGHTS (2011) Speaking of, Jon appears to have initially opened his wonderful site with this: https://rarefilm.torrentbay.st/?s=wuthering+heights. Oh, I found LES SOEURS BRONTE free via Kanopy and my LA library card. Turns out it this film was on my watch list. Needed a reminder, thanks! Now I can watch two Isabelle Huppert bio films. Win-win!

I just finished happily re-visiting André Téchiné’s LES SOEURS BRONTE (1979) after 40 years when by serendipity I arrived here. Both with the efforts of Isabelle Huppert, too. Thank you, Jon!
