That is why the Hearst foundation helped support it restoration & perhaps why the newspaper Charles Kane purchases in CITIZEN KANE is also called The Chronicle. Starring old-time silent film star, Ralph Lewis, who played an early version of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, it is a meandering tale of a family deeply embedded in the daily working of the paper.. Slow & ratheer stately, the plot seems to bounce from episode to episode until it finishes on a flurry of action. Engaging & unique as a semi-lost film. Thanks Jon for showing!
