Thankyou Jon. A breathtakingly beautiful film in every way. Heddy Lamar at 19, the music , the cinematography, the symbolism, the close-ups, the still lifes, the interiors, the landscapes, the compositions, the gestures, Heddy Lamars hands, her silk clad figure, her naked in the forest, the horses. Everything in this film is pure poetry with the little dialogue being almost superfluous.

With the untold number of films I have seen in the appreciable length of my life, I somehow never got around to ECSTASY. Wow. What an interesting film! So glad I was able to first see it in this beautiful restoration. Thanks, Jon.
