In my opinion, this is Robbie Coltrane’s best role, and there are so many other things about this — for instance, this is *such* a Canadian film that it seems like a foreign film. I have been recommending it to my opera friends and colleagues since I first saw it (decades ago?) but have not been able to find it anywhere. I even spoke to the production company to ask them why they’d never released it for sale — they said they didn’t think there would be a market and anyway it was too much trouble I am going to have little cards printed up so I can tell them they can find it here.

If you care about any of : hockey, beer, opera, awkward romance, taxis, restaurants, Robby Coltrane, Canada, or hot chocolate, you will like this film, If you care about two or more, it is an absolute must-see.
