…..and it looks like Katty Line did not write the lyrics, which on further review seem to be a somewhat ideal depiction of young woman’s coming of age in finding a mate (though not wholly ideal as there is reference to the male controlling the woman’s life–unsure about that aspect; according to online info., Katty line was married to Ken Lean [who was later killed in a car crash they were in], and there is mention in cyberspace of his having a reputation in the music industry as very controlling [?]).

One quick addition….Discovered it helped to run the Katty line Vent’ Anni lyrics through Bing Microsoft translation, as Google translation was a bit wacked as sometimes occurs. Very cute lyrics, and that Katty line album cover is amazing.

Noticed an owl the other night sitting on a signpost along sidewalk (in an open area east of Boise, ID). It stayed right there just inches away from my face as I walked past. The owl was waiting for me after it had flown over my head a few minutes earlier. Immediately brought to mind that heart wrenching scene in La Califfa of a bird with its foot caught in a burning vehicle following an explosion. Then today happened to discover on YouTube the origins of Katty Line’s Vent ‘Anni (referred to in my January 10th 2020 post here) through violinist Bronislaw Huberman audio video:

Love the Katty Line Vent ‘Anni version, and realized today the lyrics are now available online. They are quite simple, and have learned the reason Katty Line enunciates the lyrics so carefully is because she is French and the lyrics are sung in Italian.

La Califfa images, Katty Line, Brahms — it all touches my heart, brings me to tears though don’t understand why.
